Minty Monday no.72

Design Systems Report 2025, Corner — Google Maps for cool kids, Command K all the things! an more

Hope you had a great weekend! Here’s this week’s Minty Monday, enjoy!

Design Systems Report 2025

Digital Asset Management tool ZeroAid has released its Design Systems Report 2025, offering insights into the current state of design systems. Based on a survey of over 290 designers and developers, the report covers topics like the tools used to build and maintain design systems and how well these systems are adopted within organizations. Respondents also assessed the overall "health" of their design systems. In short, plenty of valuable insights—available in PDF form if you prefer an old-school read.

Create interactive demos with Arcade

For many state-owned enterprises, giving demos to potential clients is a key part of their sales funnel—especially in B2B. Arcade is a tool that lets you present an interactive demo to potential users instead of just screenshots or videos. A fresh and well-designed website too!

Corner — Google Maps for cool kids

Remember AMO, the app I featured in a past Minty Monday? Its creators are back with a new app called Corner. Like AMO, it's a social platform that lets you share your favorite hotspots and places with friend groups in a more engaging way than Google Maps. The visual identity and style direction feel almost identical to AMO—maybe a bit much for someone my age, but it’ll likely resonate well with Gen Z.

Command K all the things!

Command K is an NPM package that lets you easily create composable, unstyled CommandK menus for your React app. Over the past few years, CommandK has become a UX convention for quickly searching or performing actions within a platform. You see it in popular apps like Linear, Notion, and no-code tool Framer, where the Command K menu palette has become second nature.
