Minty Monday No.63

Focus with Raycast Focus, Get your Notion-style avatar, HiKeys’ amazing product website and more

Hope you had a great weekend! Here’s this week’s Minty Monday, enjoy!

Focus with Raycast Focus

One of the apps I use daily is Raycast, and they’ve now introduced Raycast Focus. With this feature, you can block distracting apps or websites directly from Raycast for a set amount of time, helping you focus on completing tasks without interruptions. There’s also a clear countdown timer showing how long you’ve been in focus mode and how much time remains before you can access the blocked apps again.

HiKeys’ amazing product website

Switching gears a bit, but still staying in the realm of digital product design: the website for the HiKeys keyboard recently popped up in our Slack team, and its design truly deserves a shoutout. For me, a well-designed website that centers around the physical product enhances my appreciation of it significantly. This one uses 3D renders that animate based on scroll position. I’m telling you, I’m not a musician, but this keyboard almost makes me want to become one!

Get your Notion-style avatar

What I’ve always admired about Notion’s brand and visual identity is how they’ve managed to make their platform highly recognizable despite its neutral design. Their distinct illustration style plays a big part in this. On Twitter, you often see copycats using Notion-style avatars, but now there’s Notion Faces, a tool that lets you build an avatar with facial attributes to resemble yourself as closely as possible.
